Zac Hanson Is New Father

Zac Hanson – the drummer for the Hanson group has just become a father. His new son – John Ira Shepherd Hanson – was born this week in Hanson’s hometown of Tulsa. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces.

“I am so overjoyed to meet Shepherd,” Zac Hanson said in a statement posted on the group’s Web site. “There is not an audience or concert that could ever stand up to the feeling of meeting your baby for the first time.”

Cook And Archuleta Compete For 1st Place On Top Charts

David Cook and David Archuleta faced off during ‘American Idol’ and now they are taking the competition to the pop charts to vie for fans and consumers. David Cook has done an amazing 17 songs that have hit the top of the 200 Hot Digital Songs chart. The #1 hit includes “Time Of My Life” – which opened up with 236,000 downloads.

‘Other Woman’ In Twain, Lang Split Speaks Out

There have been rumors that the split between Robert “Mutt” Lange and Shania Twain was caused by the ‘other woman’. It was rumored that Lange was having an affair with producer Marie-Ann Thiebaud. However she is denying all of these rumors saying that they are unfounded.

Marie-Ann Thiébaud tells PEOPLE that “you cannot believe everything you read in the press,” referencing recent reports that her purported affair with Lange caused the husband and wife of 14 years to call it quits.

Clay Aiken To Be A Father?

Clay Aiken has changed his look and now his life is about to change as well. According to rumors he is going to be a father. TMZ stated that Aiken and Jaymes Foster-Levy – a producer, roommate, and close friend used Aiken’s sperm and artificially inseminated it.

It was successful and now she is pregnant. A rep for David Foster, Jaymes’ famous producer brother has confirmed TMZ’s earlier report in a statement to The Insider: “[Jaymes] looks great, glowing, and very happy. She and Clay have been good friends for a long time.”

Bo Bice Expecting Another Baby

‘American Idol’ runner-up Bo Bice and wife Caroline Fisher are expecting another child in August. “[We're] having a little boy [and] we’re going to name him Caleb,” he said at the “Idol” finale show Wednesday night (May 21).

The couple’s first son Aidan was born in September 2005. They married earlier in June that year in Helena, Ala. at the New Hope Presbyterian Church. “[Caleb] is a good biblical name,” Bice added. “We stuck with that with both kids — good Irish and good biblical names … We’re just blessed to have such a beautiful family.”

Steven Tyler Puts Himself In Rehab

Steven Tyler – leader for Aerosmith – has put himself into rehab. He checked himself into the Las Encinas Hospital drug rehabilitation clinic. This is the same clinic that was used to film ‘Celebrity Rehab’.

In 2006 Tyler – 60 – revealed to the public that he was diagnosed with Hepatitis C and had gone through 11 months of chemotherapy.

Scarlett Johansson Debut Album Gets Bad Reviews

Scarlett Johansson has been doing great when it comes to her most recent films and she has been given high praise by some of the harshest critics in the movie industry. The music industry was not as kind to her this week as they reviewed her debut album.

The album “Anywhere I Lay My Head” was released on Tuesday and was a collection of some of the best Tom Waits songs. Johansson said that recording for the record was “an intimate experience.” Yet, many reviews seem to think that it was more painful instead of intimate.

Witnesses ID Victim In R. Kelly Trial

In the R. Kelly trial yesterday where friends and family were forced to point out Simha Jamison in the sex tape that was used as evidence. Prosecutors put Simha Jamison on the stand, and she said that she and the girl alleged to be on the sex tape were best friends for 10 years.

Britney Spears Working On New Album

Britney Spears has been called many things in her life – but ‘Master’ is something that we have never heard. In fact we aren’t sure if that really suits her. The music producer J.R. Rotem seems to think it does.

J.R. Rotem – former paramour of and current musical collaborator with BritBrit – says that’s exactly what she is. “She’s a lot more experienced than most people. She just has the ‘it’ factor that not every artist has,” he gushes to People.

‘Gorillaz’ Makes Its Way To The U.S.

Damon Albarn is making its debut starting on May 22nd. ‘Monkey: Journey To The West’ first debuted in Manchester, England last year and is finally coming to the U.S. We will see it debut at the 2008 Sploeto Festival USA in Charleston, South Carolina.
