There are many different types of guitars that can be found including acoustic and electric. The guitar usually has six strings, but four, seven, eight, ten, and twelve string guitars also exist. Guitars are made and repaired by luthiers.
The real name for piano is pianoforte. Piano is just a shortened word that is most commonly used in place of pianoforte. There were many people who tried to make the piano, but they looked more like unusual forms of stringed keyboard instruments with unusual strings. Many historians beleive though that the piano was invented by Bartolomeo Cristofori of Padua, Italy.
The violin is a stringed musical instrument that is said to be one of the hardest instruments to master. It is made up of four strings, which are tuned a fifth apart. It is the smallest and highest-tuned member of the violin family of string instruments, which also includes the viola, cello and double bass.
There are many instruments out there that are very well known. For example we all know the piano, guitar, saxophone, flute, and many more. But there are some instruments that we have never heard before. partly because very few people use them and partly because they are no longer being used.
