Ashlee Simpson has been making the headlines a lot these days. Most of these headlines have been commenting on her new looks that she bought for with surgery. Now it seems we have some especially happy news to report. A rep for the singer stated that she is engaged.
One possible cause for the quickie engagement is a pregnancy, to which her rep had no comment. Simpson did give her take on the matter on her blog.

Pink and her husband – Carey Hart have come to the decision that they should split. The decision made by the punk star and the motocross racer seemed to be mutually established. “This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another,” said the singer’s publicist, Michele Schweitzer. “While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”
