Janet Jackson’s representative stated that the singer was hospitalized after she became sick right before one of her concerts. A statement released by W&W Public Relations stated that the singer canceled the concert in Montreal Monday after she “got suddenly ill”.
Apparently the 42 year old singer was on her North American tour and fell sick during her sound check. She was then rushed to the hospital just before the show was going to begin.

Reps for the singer said that she should be released today. “Doctors have advised that she will be kept under observation overnight and is likely to be released tomorrow,” read a statement released by Goodman and Tracey Miller, the 24-year-old’s U.S.-based publicist.
