George Osmond Dies At The Age Of 90
The famous and well beloved, George Osmond died this week at the age of 90 at his home in Utah. It is believed that he died of natural causes – but he had not complained of being sick.
George Osmond loved his family and was bent on giving them every thing they needed and every good experience that they could have. He helped his 9 children to become famous by creating the Osmond Brother and helping Donny and Marie Osmond to launch their singing careers.
George and his wife, Olive, were married in Dec of 1944 and were faithful until the day she died in 2004. They had 9 children, 55 grandchildren, and 48 great-grandchildren.
George Osmond was a well respected World War II veteran who gave up working so that he could dedicate himself to managing the singing careers of his children. He was loved by all and will be missed.
