Jay-Z & Beyonce Tie The Knot
For weeks we have been waiting to see if Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles were going to tie the knot. We have been suspicious and while they are being good about keeping things quiet Mary J. Blige decided to spread the good news inside. During her performance in North Carolina she decided to spill the beans by saying, “Congratulations to my man, Jay-Z, and my girl B”.
The concert was part of Jay-Z’s and Blige’s tour “Heart of the City.” Other than that, the concert was business as usual, the rapper not even wearing a wedding ring. Furthermore, Beyonce was not spotted at the concert. However, Jay-Z did mention her after he played a few seconds of the artist’s “Crazy in Love,” afterwards saying: “Sorry B.” But this is not the first time he does that. People Magazine reports that he does this at every show.
Beyonce and her 38-year-old lover have been together for the past six years. It’s about time they got married! Still, the two have always kept quiet about their relationship, but lately this silence was broken. A friend of the couple’s told People that Jay-Z and Beyonce tied the knot: “It happened earlier (Friday) evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family.”
According to the source, the wedding was followed by a party held at Jay-Z’s Tribeca apartment, where only friends and family were gathered including: Beyonce’s parents Tina and Mathew Knowles, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and also the couple’s friends Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband.
