Lil Wayne announced during the BET Hip-Hop Awards that he is expecting his first son who will be born in “a couple of days.” I wonder how he kept that hidden from the media this whole time?
“I got a son about to be born any day now, so shout-out to him. Pray for me,” the New Orleans rapper said during his acceptance speech for lyricist of the year. Afterwards he reminded the crowd to vote during the November election.
That wasn’t the only good news he talked about. He stated that a new version of his album ‘The Carter III’ will be released shortly. The album was first released in June. He said that the new album will feature new songs.
He spent the rest of the show hanging out with friends and performing during N.E.R.D.’s “Spazz” and T-Pain’s “Can’t Believe It” and “Chopped And Screwed.” He also won the People’s Champ Award and MVP of the year.
