Madonna To Perform In Home State

Madonna will be performing in her home state - something that she hasn’t done in seven years. She will arrive at Ford Field November 18th. The city is the home to the Detroit Lions and has seen other big musicians like Eminem who also hails from the city.

Details on ticket sales for the Madonna show will be announced next week. The Detroit Free Press reports it would be Madonna’s first concert in the state since 2001, when she performed two shows at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Her latest international tour launches its North American leg Oct. 4 in New Jersey. The singer was in Michigan Saturday to introduce her new documentary at the Traverse City Film Festival.
