Miley Cyrus Gets Nasty To Competition
It looks like Miley Cyrus is getting a little jealous and isn’t unable to take the competition that comes her way. Disney is always on the lookout for new actors and actresses as well as pop sensations to fill the hearts off all their fans. Since Miley Cyrus has made her mark on the world Disney has popped out a couple of teen girl sensations that are making an even bigger mark.
15 year old Demi Lovato was able to make her debut into singing and acting in the new Disney film “Camp Rock” in which she played an outcast teenage girl trying to make new friends at camp. Also new to the arena is 16 year old and Lovato’s best friend Selena Gomez from “Witches of Waverly Place”.
Together the two have bonded and have been reaching out to fans through their YouTube channel where they talk about everything from make-up, boys, and their new music videos.
And while Demi and Selena’s video is a big hit on the Internet, garnering more than 3 million views to date, it seems as if Miley isn’t much of a fan. She’s taken the battle for teen-pop supremacy into her own hands, creating a YouTube response video. The video, featuring Cyrus and her 22-year-old friend Mandy Jiroux, mocks Miley’s fellow Disney stars.
In the video Miley and Mandy mimic the video that Gomez and Lovato made making fun of the two of them the whole time. Not only are they attacking the two verbally - but they have also gone so far as to dress up the same way and make fun of their physical attire.
This response shows us that Miley is not yet ready for the spotlight and the responsibilities that comes with it. It seems that she has taken the path that so many fans and parents had hoped she would stay away from. She will have the same sordid rumors (which have already started with the pictures) and the same attitude that is so common of young teenagers who start off in showbiz. She is not cut out to be a role model for anyone.
