Spears’ Attornies Drop Case Out Of Frustration
Britney Spears is being very tardy and very flippant about her custody dates – which could help her to get full or at least most of the custody for her children. After arriving two hours late to her recent custody trial where she was supposed to give her deposition – her attorneys decided that they had had enough.
The law firm Trope and Trope asked a court Wednesday to be relieved as Spears’ attorneys. The firm said there has been a “breakdown” in communication with the pop princess that makes representing her “impossible.”
Sources told TMZ the fact that she didn’t show for the deposition Wednesday was a factor in her lawyers’ decision to file papers asking to withdraw as counsel, but it was only one of many reasons. As one source told TMZ, “Her whole life has become insane and it’s impossible for anyone to get through to her.”
